The sooner the better! We suggest you should start the process at latest six weeks prior to sending out your invitations (usually six to eight weeks before the wedding). This time frame allows for proofing, making any changes you might like and most importantly ensuring you are happy with your invitation. Depending on your requirements, late orders can be accommodated in some circumstances.

Not quite as simple as taking the number of guests and dividing it by two! Make sure that you take into account any single invitations you might need and it is always a good idea to order approx 5 extra for any last minute guests you might have forgotten and most people like to keep at least one for themselves as a momento. Also if there is a guest whom you know cannot attend, it is still a courtesy to send an invitation.

We recommend that you send out a ‘save the date’ card as soon as you can. This provides the date and location of the wedding. You do not have to give details of the ceremony etc. When your friends know they are on the guest list they can then organise in advance to have that date free. Save the date cards can be customised according to your requirements. Full invitations are sent approx eight weeks before the wedding.
